USCG HC-130J & HC-130H Hercules With Retro Paint Scheme 2009

Photo Description: A left side view of a United States Coast Guard (USCG) HC-130H Hercules (#1504, USAF S/N 73-0845) displaying an historic color scheme to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the C-130 in Coast Guard Service, flies in formation with a HC-130J Hercules (#2003) from Air Station Elizabeth City. This aircraft will be used by the Aviation Logistics Center as a prototype platform for aircraft upgrades and modifications. Air Station Elizabeth City has the first operational J models. The Coast Guard has been using a version of the C-130 since Air Station Elizabeth City took delivery of the first one in December 1959. Hercules #1504 was retired in 2014. Photo Description: A left side view of a United States Navy North American RA-5C Vigilante aircraft ( BuNo 149313 ) assigned to Reconnaissance Attack Squadron SIX ( RVAH-6 ) nicknamed Fleurs parked at NAS North Island painted in an experimental camouflage scheme. This RA-5C 149313 was put into storage at the AMARC bone yard in 1971 and later salvaged at the Tolicha Peak Range, Nevada in 1986. USAF YF-117 Nighthawk 410th FTS Edwards 2005

Photo Description: An air to air underside view of a United States Air Force YF-117A Nighthawk stealth fighter aircraft ( 79-0782 ) assigned to the 410th Flight Test Squadron (410th FLTS) 412th Test Wing at Edwards Air Force Base, California with the American flag emblazoned on its underbelly flies past spectators at the 2005 Edwards Open House and Air Show. This is the third YF-117A built (79-0782) call sign Scorpion 3 and was used for acoustics and navigation system testing. This aircraft has had many different paint schemes. The bottom of 782 was painted in a red, white & blue American flag scheme twice once in 1983 and again for this Edwards Open House in October 2005. It was also in a light gray scheme for a short time. At the time of its retirement in 2008, 782 was the oldest F-117 model still flying with over 1200 flights, and 1500 flying hours time. 79-0782 is on static display at Holloman Air Force Base repainted to resemble the first F-117A used to drop weapons in combat.
