After service with the USAF this BUFF was delivered to NASA Dryden Flight Research Center on July 30, 2001 as replacement for NB-52B mothership. It left Edwards AFB May 9, 2008 on one-time ferry flight to Sheppard AFB, TX, where it will become a maintenance trainer, never to fly again.
