USAF C-130 C-130 Hercules 777th EAS Balad AB Iraq 2007
Photo Description: An air to air right side view of a United States Air Force Lockheed C-130 Hercules aircraft assigned to the 777th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron takes off from Balad Air Base, Iraq. The 777th EAS was the most forward deployed C-130 airlift unit engaged in the Iraqi theater of operations. Reactivated September 2001, the squadron - known as the "Dueling Dragons" - began operations out of Joint Base Balad, Iraq (JBB) in February 2006. The unit was inactivated May 15, 2011.
